Misfortune The Sequel
A downloadable game
I swear it works now.
Mainly meant for friends to try out and bully me.
This game is an endless, wave survival top-down shooter. Even I, the developer, have trouble living for longer than 10 mins. The enemies (supposed to be zombies) are relentless, and will not stop swarming you. A lot of things are luck-based, so good luck trying to live with bad spawns.
There is also a sight mechanic, which means that if you are distracted you are likely to get ambushed and killed.
I would also like to apologise for the bad tutorial. Since it was a school project I had to cram a lot of things last minute, which is why there are some amazing bugs.
Known bugs/problems:
- If you set the audio too high your eardrums will hurt (Recommended 70 for everything first, then tweak accordingly)
- If you skip the tutorial using the escape key it can make enemies invisible
- You can start paralysed. It is easily fixed by tapping the escape key.
- Pausing will not stop sound effects but it will stop function and UI. Just something to look out for if you rely on audio for actions like healing and reloading.
- You can press the escape key while accessing settings in-game, and unpause the game with the settings UI on the screen.
- Health and poison maybe broken since I had a never-ending run and zombies seemed to do no proper damage.

Install instructions
To play the game, unzip the ZIP file, find Misfortune The Sequel as an application (it has a unity icon at the moment) and enjoy.
Since it's Unity it theoretically works on Windows, Man or Linux devices. If it doesn't, then Unity lied to me
